Learning to understand now
how hard it must had been
to put up with me.

The intense, impulsive
unknowingly erring all the way
stuck figuring out emotions
running on assumptions.

Words always left my hands
as doubled edged swords
cutting both of us in texts
long or short.

Apologies would never do
any justice to the discomfort
you've been through
all because the stubborn me
couldn't think beyond self.

Can't change the past
nor take a step away
but try be a better listener
if ever I can...
